Fan Art, is the art that gives another dimension to the creative talent of designers.
It is not related to the original creative process of a work, but draws inspiration from it to recreate it and render it in a different way.

Favorite heroes, whether from comics, books, movies, series or video games, are re-created through Fan Art with the artist’s personal elements. It is an enjoyable pastime for professionals and amateurs alike.

In a condensed two-hour session the following modules are developed:

• Theory of shapes on our favorite hero, theory of colors
• Art of observation and reference
• Analysis: construction and deconstruction of heroes
• Publication of the hero
• Summary and repetition of the procedure

What is the purpose of Fan Art?
Creators can design all kinds of artwork both traditional and digital. Fan Art has been created both to promote students’ free creativity and for students through their talent to show their love and support for their favorite characters or to showcase the characters’ relationships.
It is a way to communicate and connect with people who share the same interests and a way to showcase visual art skills, to a pre-existing audience.

How to attend:
The workshop is conducted online through the ZOMM platform in a two-hour session with the possibility of full interactivity, two-way questioning and interaction between participants.
It is videoed in its flow, providing learners with the possibility to watch it at a time that suits them, in case they are absent from the course.
The material will be in a private Facebook group created by the instructor and will be available for 5 days for the participants of each class.

A Certificate of Attendance will be sent upon completion of the seminar.
