Become a Concept Artist, create your own artwork album and secure a place in the Game Industry.

Concept Art is an art form used to realize and transfer an idea for use in films, animation, comics, computer games and other media.

Preparation – portfolio creation and social media promotion
A fast-paced 5-hour introduction to Videogames Concept Art, teaching us how to create our own portfolio.

The following modules are developed:

  1. Lesson : What is Concept Artist – the power of the portfolio
  2. Lesson : Creating our own portfolio + creative content (part 1)
  3. Lesson : Creating our own portfolio + creative content (part 2)
  4. Lesson : Publishing, sharing our creation and possibilities of
    work
  5. Lesson : Portfolio presentation

In this training cycle, we focus on character design with references and explanations in visual storytelling. Step by step, we build a secure and solid foundation in creating future Concept Artists and unfold a spectrum of work and absorption within the creative technology industry. Ethics, professional engagement, financial figures are included in the course.
The learner will be able to create their own artwork album, painting traditionally and digitally. They will learn easy and effective techniques and become confident about their abilities.
(Programs used and available for free online: Autodesk Sketchbook, Adobe Photoshop, Krita)

This is an innovative fast-paced seminar for educational and professional preparation. It is aimed at anyone aged 10 years and above, with no or moderate knowledge of design, who is interested in working in the Game Industry.

How to attend:
The seminar is conducted online, either individually or in groups, through the ZOMM platform once a week for five weeks, with the possibility of full interactivity, two-way questioning and interaction between participants.
It is video-recorded in the flow, providing learners with the opportunity to watch at a time that is convenient for them, in case they are absent from one of the courses. The material throughout the training will be in a private Facebook group created by the instructor and will be available from the beginning to one month after the end of the program, strictly and only for the participants of each class. In this platform will be posted recorded asynchronous material for practice, trainees’ projects, any questions to be solved and discussed.

In the rapidly growing Esports industry jobs are varied with a high demand for talented hero creators.
A concept artist is a great artist who visualizes and creates art in many different fields. In the video game industry, he or she is the designer of compelling and iconic characters, environments and many creative elements, rendering them in a highly realistic style.
The term concept art was coined and recognized in the early 1930s
The automotive industry and animation studios were the first industries to establish full-time employment for concept artists, and today a third of them are employed exclusively by the video game industry. This is also the industry that revolutionized the world of visuals, shortly after the release of the Atari 2600 in 1977, when games became true visual masterpieces.

A Certificate of Attendance is sent on completion of the seminar.
